1. "Poor choice of words"
Notice, Boehner says Barton apologized for "his poor choice of words"... NOT for defending BP or his belief that BP is the real victim.

2. Boehner also said not too long ago that BP "and" The Federal Government, aka; taxpayers should be
responsible for the Gulf Oil Gusher. Boehner quickly backpedaled, but that's what he and the Republican Party believe, privatize the profit and socialize the risk.

All Barton did was ineptly, expose the true base of current Republican ideology; in all of its' sociopathic glory, that being corporate supremacy over "We the people's" government and in turn over the American People.

The Republicans had a good run of pretending to be against "big government" and for the people, that was all BS, they've always been corporatist to the bone, willing to trade representative government for corporate domination combined with government collusion in undermining the best interests of the American People, while demonizing the very idea of the public good, "Barton's apology" brings that morally bankrupt concept to it ultimate audible conclusion.

Kicked and recommended to the OP, thanks for the thread, Joanne.
