ABC 7 news coverage. rowdy anarchists from other communities attempted to turn the peaceful protests in downtown oakland. oakland youths turned them away, standing firm to a committment to voice their opinions over the mehserle murder verdict in ways that WOULD NOT turn violent.

that the anarchists are not local.
Anarchists are more widespread in this country than she knows.
It's the same "outside agitator" bullshit.

That it was "outside" anarchists coming to stir up trouble, and yet the overwhelming majority of those arrested were from St. Paul and only a handful of them were anarchists.

Also, I've seen very little evidence that this and in particular, the last riot in Oakland was caused by anarchists. During the last riot, right after the killing, I saw lots of unmasked Oakland youth torch a police car and smash business windows, and NONE of them were wearing Black Bloc gear or covering their faces the way anarchists do.
