With the recent ARG poll numbers showing John Edwards in second in SC and his win there in 2004, I am very hopeful.

1. WOW, you folks probably don't realize how RED Spartanburg IS!

I used to live in Spartanburg County. It's redder than Greenville!!! GREAT news for JE.

5. I read the Myrtle Beach and Beaufort

news online for my job - South Carolina is soooooo red - I cringed when I read all the glee about the possibility of making a woman look at an ultrasound before getting an abortion...Thank God it didn't pass. After the Carpenter and Steel Workers unions coming out with endorsements for Edwards, this is very good indeed. :)

3. I'm certainly hoping that he developes some momentum in the coming months

Edwards is my "mainstream" choice. If Michigan votes early, as currently appears likely, I will vote for Edwards in the primary. Unless Kucnich starts to become a real factor.

Finger's crossed here that enough folks see him as I do come primaries time! I'm sure I'm not the only one that can smell phony and I don't get the slightest wiff of it from JE & spouse! He'll get my dollar-festooned support so long as he stays in the game. If K street can buy who they want, why can't we???:think:
