I had a hard time believe that this many have been found guilty of some sort of child abuse so I checked a few and found them true. Of course many I had already known about.

"So far, Dasen has been charged with rape for allegedly paying a 15-year-old girl for sex. The age of consent in Montana is 16. He has also been charged with two felony counts of promoting prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all the charges, and his attorney, George Best, declined to comment on any aspect of the case.


Many of the women Dasen allegedly paid for sex met him when they came to Christian Financial Counseling for help in consolidating and managing their debts. Dasen ran the nonprofit organization and also owns a private finance firm, Budget Finance.
Detectives have interviewed about 40 of these women, and many of them have said that Dasen "used their indebtedness to him to coerce them to have sex," Kalispell Police Chief Frank Garner said."

We here at the Maggot Punks love to remind our readers how Troy Newman's Operation Rescue West loves to work with felons, terrorists and hypocrites but to give them due credit we've never known them to associate with rapists. Operation Save America on the other hand has no problem with them. In fact they laud them on their website (minus the entire issue of being convicted sex offenders). We speak of no other than Scott Heldreth, long time veteran of Randall Terry's Operation Rescue organization.

Howard Scott Heldreth has been arrested numerous times protesting in front of abortion clinics throughout the nation. His history behind bars includes two cases of rape and kidnapping at the University of Ohio in 1992. Since then he has continued to show his support for women by joining the anti-abortion crusade with Operation Save America because he still believes he knows what's best for women. No doubt he shares OSA's position that abortion isn't acceptable even in the case of rape, afterall, people like Heldreth believes that he still has a choice in what is done with his sperm after it is forcibly injected into a woman against her will. What a sick twit! He believes abortion is morally unacceptable but raping women is perfectly fine. Perhaps he was just deluded by his Bible reading where it says a rape victim must marry his rapist. A federal judge yesterday rejected a bid by Philip A. Giordano, the former mayor of Waterbury, for a reduced sentence, saying he deserved 37 years in prison for abusing two girls while he was mayor. Mr. Giordano, 44, was convicted in 2003 of violating the girls’ civil rights by paying a prostitute to bring her daughter and niece to him for sexual encounters in 2000 and 2001, when they were 8 and 10 years old. Mr. Giordano sought a reduction after federal sentencing guidelines were made advisory rather than mandatory. Yesterday, Judge Alan H. Nevas of Federal District Court ruled that the sentence was just.

We have chosen former Republican mayor of Waterbury, Connecticut, Phil Giordano, for this week's honors. Phil came to mind because the prostitute who provided her pre-teen daughter and niece to Giordano for sex was sentenced Friday to 10 years in prison. That's right -- GOP Giordano had girls as young as 8 and 10 perform oral sex on him in his Mayoral office just a couple of years ago.

A Maine Republican seeking a seat in the United States Senate who has cast himself as a champion of family values, became a center of controversy today after New England newspapers published six-year-old accusations that he had had sex with his children's 12-year-old baby sitter.

The Boston Globe, The Portland Press Herald and The Bangor Daily News in Maine said the candidate, W. John Hathaway, a multimillionaire state senator and Republican fundraiser, was a real estate developer in Huntsville, Ala., when the accusations were made in 1990.

With the closely contested Republican primary six days away, Mr. Hathaway, 44, went on television today to say the accusations were untrue.

With his mother, his wife and his five children by his side, he accused one of his two Republican opponents, Robert A. G. Monks, of planting the story, and described the girl as a "troubled" former patient of a mental institution.

According to The Portland Press Herald, the girl's mother said that Mr. Hathaway's accusation was untrue and that the girl had been in a therapeutic center.
