The US secretary of State Hillary Clinton speaking for President Obama's administration on the WikiLeaks recent cables release (aka. WikiLeaks 3.0) She says the US condemns this illegal disclosure and that this release puts people's lives in danger. She goes on to say that all American foreign policy is matter of public record and reflected in our statements and actions around the world.

The international bosses of the world don't like being exposed for who they are.

Hilary understands that if she doesn't apologize to those bosses and make promises of lesson-teaching punishments, there will be consequences for her to pay - at a minimum, her political career.

8. Spying on me
That is correct and the government spying on me and conducting illegal searches is also a threat to me and the world. Not because I am guilty of wrong doing, rather because it infringes on my rights and that is an infringement on all our rights as human beings, that leads to a secretive, corrupt, militaristic and fascist State, which then leads to a revolution.

12. I supported her, I never said she was better
than Obama, in fact there isn't a lot of difference between the two of them. I preferred her because she was a woman and I would have liked to have seen a woman President. But I am pretty damn sure she takes orders from Obama. The buck doesn't stop with her. Take that as you will.

Look what else is on the home page today:

"Mark Ruffalo 'added to terrorism watchlist' over Gasland (documentary that criticizes gas drilling)"

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=102x4633970

So some poor ACTOR is on a terrorist watch list because he committed the unpardonable sin of ORGANIZING SCREENINGS of the film, Gasland,(a prize winner at the Sundance film festival, no less) which documents the poisoning of our water supply by our corporate overlords. So, we the people are considered terrorists because we call attention to how they're killing us.

Mr. Ruffalo better be watching the skies. The prez. will be sending a drone after him next.

And Hillary prattles on about "national security" and "putting people's lives in danger". I'm sick of her and her ilk. And I have no interest in anything she has to say.

24. "Putting people's lives in danger"
Hillary, you are so full of shit! Where the hell were you when Valerie Plame was outed by Cheney and company and people's lives were really in danger.
Maybe a couple of kings and princes' in the middle east may worry for a few seconds, but I don't see any one in danger. So yeah, STFU.

14. Funny how people like Secretary Clinton feel it's totally okay to
Grope us in our officially secret areas, listen to our phone calls, and monitor our web use.

But somehow it is WRONG to have the information contained in Wikileaks out there. Even though undoubtedly, the nations that are concerned have their own intel departments, that have already told them much of this.

The only people that Wikileaks is informing are the average citizens.

21. I was going to say the same thing.
We have a government that engages in pervasive domestic surveillance, but they get their panties in a twist when the tables are turned.

Well fuck that shit.

20. Sorry, but this is just bullshit.
None of the laudable diplomatic goals she put forth need to be done in secret. In fact, if people were more up front and honest in their discussions, a lot more progress would be made.

The only reason people's lives would be put in danger by the truth is if people did things so reprehensible that if it were brought to life people would want to kill them for it. And that is just what is happening. People are finding out out the backstabbing and doubletalk and are mad enough to kill over it.

Hey, here's a thought - instead of trying harder to cover up the backstabbing and doubletalk why not just cut out the backstabbing and doubletalk?
