1. I love Thom Hartmann even though I only get to listen for a short part

of my day.

I love liberal radio and TV and DU because these media outlets let me know that I am not alone in my values and beliefs.

We liberals are by nature considerate and attentive. There is such a thing as a liberal bully, but it's pretty rare.

Knowing that I am part of a community of people who think pretty much like I do is such a comfort, such a source of strength.

I hope that Thom Hartmann continues to do what he does as long as possible.

I wish that liberal talk shows could get more voice in small-town America. In southern Ohio where my mother lives, there is almost no liberal media. The college station is pretty much a thing of the past. MSNBC is about all that is available. No wonder the US moves ever more to the right. Big business funds right-wing radio, but gives those of us who are liberal no support.

That is why I favor a campaign to stop buying. Buy only what you need until our country becomes more open to different ideas.
