It's hard to imagine someone making this video now without being put on a watch list of some sort.

A good music video that shows the violence we caused to people on the left in Central America in the 1980s. It's unbelievable to think of what we did in the name of neoliberal policies in the 1980s. When I watch footage like this I wonder why we think they'll just let us elect someone who'll give us things like job protections and single-payer when they've used military force for people demanding such protections in the past. It's strange to consider that we've moved to the RIGHT since this video was shot.

The rhetoric in support of what we did in Latin America seems so unbelievable now. I wonder how crazy the rhetoric against Iraqis will seem to posterity.
