3. No surprise there!
“There was nothing that escaped the ingenuity of Nazi propagandists. A case in point was the use of film. Under Goebbels’ influence the party had begun to exploit the potential of the political propaganda film to an unprecedented extent as early as 1930. Such films were shown mostly in places where Hitler and other prominent party leaders were not able to appear as speakers. For the manufacture of outdoor sound film, the NSDAP turned to an American company, Twentieth Century Fox.“

4. The alleged "connection" is so tenuous as to be laughable!
Far more useful connections could be made between the US film industry in the Thirties and its war on organized labor.

Unrecommended!

5. Interesting
Would you happen to know of any books on the subject? Labor history is a big interest of mine.

6. Here's one:
"Class Struggle in Hollywood, 1930-1950 : Moguls, Mobsters, Stars, Reds, and Trade Unionists Book"

http://www.ebooksdownloadfree.com/History-Military/Class-Struggle-in-Hollywood-1930-1950-Moguls-Mobsters-S-BI11644.html

By the mid-thirties and later, the anti-unionism was manifested by the "tilting" in favor of "conciliatory" (aka: "sell out") AFL unions, as against the more militant CIO ones. The former were not only blatantly corrupt but murderously gangster-ridden. Later, I'll try to Google it, but one major studio head boasted that his "investment" in one such corrupt union, paid off BIG in terms of greatly lowered payroll expenses.

With some accuracy (but lesser relevance), they portrayed the CIO unions as "commie-controlled", but that was clearly "bottom-line" driven. The book, "Tender Comrades" goes into the post-war red-baiting.

7. Here's one Google 'hit': Roy Brewer (but not the one I was looking for)
Roy Brewer, the son of a blacksmith, was born in Nebraska on 9th August, 1909. He left school in 1924 and worked as a usher and projectionist at a local cinema. Later he became chief projector operator at a cinema in Grand Island, Nebraska, from where he organised a union of projectionists across central Nebraska. In 1932 he was elected as president of the Nebraska State Federation of Labor.

During the Second World War Brewer worked in Washington for a board regulating the allocation of previous materials. In 1945 he joined the International Alliance of Theatrical State Employees (IATSE) and moved to Hollywood as its senior representative. According to IATSE's website: Brewer was under the control of organized crime and the Hollywood bosses: “The moguls put Brewer on the payroll and he and his Chicago thugs guaranteed low wage contracts and no strikes.” Soon afterwards Brewer took the side of the producers in their fight with the Conference of Studio Unions (CSU).

Brewer met studio bosses in secret and arranged for IATSE members to cross the picket lines. He also mounted a media campaign against the CSU leader, Herbert Sorrell, describing him as a communist and in the pay of the Soviet Union. He also joined forces with Ronald Reagan, president of the Screen Actors Guild, in his determination to destroy the CSU.

11. A related book: "The Campaign Of The Century"
Here's a good review: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2010/11/20/921636/-Book-review:-Greg-Mitchells-The-Campaign-of-the-Century

The major studios played a large role in that campaign, with faked newsreel clips as well as bogus "man in the street" interviews. They also ASSESSED each and every employee for contributions to that campaign. Against the backdrop of bloody strikes in maritime and agriculture, Upton Sinclair won a landslide primary victory for Governor of California, Sinclair, the Bernie Sanders of that time, ran under an overtly New Deal platform (EPIC). He appealed to FDR for what would have been critical support. But FDR threw him under the bus", and his opponent, a loathsome reactionary, won. But that was also the end of California as a solid Republican state.

12. Discussion of Walt Disney
Marc Elliot, author of "Walt Disney: Hollywood’s Dark Prince", discusses the subject of his book. Walt Disney is discussed as an American hero, a confirmed anti-Semite, a virulent union buster, and an informant to the FBI. The author describes Thomas Edison trusts that excluded Jews from the film industry in New York, results in the founding of Hollywood which resulted in Disney’s experience with the reverse exclusion of himself from Hollywood. The author alleges that Disney’s participation in blacklisting involved anti-Semitism under the guise of communist infiltration of Hollywood. Disney’s racist disposition is illustrated by single black employee of the studio for twenty five years who was Disney’s personal shoeshine.
Anti-union and anti-labor attitudes of Disney are described by the author, essentially a use of popular anti-communist sentiment was wielded by Disney against striking workers, whose personal employment records were turned over to the FBI by Disney, and later used to investigate the worker’s communist ties. According to the author, none of these workers found work in this industry again. FBI and Disney involvement in COMPIC operation is discussed prior to Disney’s public testimony for the House Un-American Activities Committee.

Disney wasn't really typical of the other major studios, and this discussion should probably belong in another Forum. But it might interest you, given your interest in unionism.

10. "Feelings offended"? Hardly!
But I was greatly concerned that someone here might unthinkingly take that allegation seriously, and "run with it". The resulting embarrassment could be devastating to anyone with delicate sensibilities.
