2. Oh no!
So Obama fully endorses Bush's failed economic policies. Now we know why this wasn't worked on in September before the elections. This would have been a sure winner for the Democratic candidates, well that is, if Obama hadn't sold out to the special interest of the top 1%.

3. I think what Obama's trying to say is...
"Don't believe your eye's and ears...Just have faith that the corporately owned congress is going to do the right thing, as long as we don't piss off the elites."

18. Baloney. The payroll tax cut to Social Security gives people more
taxable income that will be taxed at a higher rate than when they retire. It concurrently reduces the SS tax witholding with the promise of repayment some day with the general fund. Social Security payroll tax has had no holiday in the 75 years of the programs. This is a trick to defund social security by decreasing the funding now, then doing it next year again because they don't want to raise taxes going into an election year. This shoots a hold in the program that Republicans will widen. I've had plenty of civics and plenty of math, plus a degree in accounting. Possibly you should brush up on your accounting skills. This is about the poor and middle class Obama's defunding of SS will devastate. And who do think will have to provide the money for momma and papa when their social security is not there? Their children, that's who. This was simply another smooth, unctious speech designed to make people feel happy confident while they are betraying themselves. And it was given to the party of the rich without a fight, as usual. If it passes, it will end the Democratic Party.

6. Mr. President, I no longer trust your words.
The central theme of your campaign was to return tax rates on the wealthy to where they were before Bush.

aspleep during that one?

9. For turning against your base - you're done sir
We now have 2 years to come up with an alternative to this bluedog president.
I say somehow the Green party and the Progressive party should join and nominate
someone. We need a lot of good voters to unite and get someone decent in this
office. Someone who wont try to do so much damage we are plummeted into end times.
