A California woman is suing the TSA following an incident at Albuquerque International Sunport where she was subjected to an invasive breast groping in full public view by the TSA, despite making it known that she had been forced to undergo a mastectomy last year.

As if things couldn't get any worse, when the supervisor arrived and Ms. Durso's son asked why he had also not been subjected to the body search, the TSA agent told the boy "well you don't have boobs".

I traveled from San Francisco to Kansas City two weeks ago. When I checked through security at SFI, it was chaos. We all had to find a line to stand in to begin the "security process."

Well, of the half dozen lines or so that were forming, I got in one that required I do the nude-body scan. Okay, I thought, if I have to... But the line next to me was going through a standard metal detector. Then I noticed two nude-body scanners and what looked like two more lines using the standard metal detector. I just happened to get in one that used the more-invasive scanner.

As I was taking off my shoes, belt, outer garments, and emptying my pockets and placing everything in bins to go through the x-ray machine, I saw that the woman in front of me was taking an inordinate amount of time in the nude-scanner. I stood there waiting my turn when a TSA agent motioned to me to go through the metal detector in order to speed up the entire process (people were backing up behind the woman in the nudie-scanner).

So I walked through the metal detector with no problem, but I thought "How is this keeping us 'safe'?" Why can't we all just simply use the metal detectors? They're less invasive and take less time...

She didn't even go through the metal detector. They just ushered her through the microwave. I was pissed, but I knew protesting would cause us to miss our flight. When we came back she said that she would never let them put her in there again.
