Isn’t tax based on NET revenue?

Huckabee threw out the fallacy that “small businesses are in the category of being millionaires” because they have million-plus dollar gross revenue.

The fallacy that is usually thrown in as a follow up is that increasing taxes will reduce the incentive to hire.
Hiring is based on the belief that the market will support growth and the NET revenue generated by additional locations and workers will increase (e.g. Starbucks).
I think the tax on people netting over $1,000,000 should be increased by an additional 10% to give them an incentive to try and make up their reduced party/vacation/luxury money.

Toward the end, Huckabee tried to throw in a concept that would grab Fox viewers attention (you work twice as hard; you should bring home twice as much) and try to create an association to inheritance tax by proximity. Hopefully, Weiner was able to hammer home his point on inheritance tax. It’s a shame he didn’t get a chance to get into the value of a graduated tax system
