Cenk Uygur (host of The Young Turks) interviewed WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange on MSNBC's Dylan Ratigan show. They discussed critics of Assange, the treatment of Private Bradley Manning and more.
I didn't think anybody else was up, LOL. I saw this on MSNBC and couldn't believe that nobody else had posted it... Amazing interview and I think Cenk did an outstanding job! :hi:
I thought that Cenk did a spectacular job. It was quite a coup to get this interview, especially since he was the guest host, but I can't imagine the pressure... Yikes! x( :applause: :hi:
Jose Padilla, unknown prisoners at Gitmo (and God only knows what other hell holes), the 8th Amendment has now become discretionary. The only reason Assange isn't with Manning is because he is too public a figure now to just disappear into one of our political prisoner black holes.
15. Good interview by Cenk. Unlike the one with 'tabloid schmuck'
Jim Sciutto from ABC. This is how you interview someone who has done so much for the freedom of the journalists everywhere and the oppressed around the world.
Showing up our fascist government for what it is. This is the way prisoners are tortured to say what a fascist government wants to hear. They are not after the truth. This despicable treatment and what these cables are proving is why they are so feared. May the gods protect you pvt Manning. Our thoughts are with you in these very dangerous times.
