3. This is so ridiculous it's got to backfire.

All parents and caretakers impose authority on children in their effort to maintain order, safety, and their own sanity. When kids reach adolescence, they start to question authority and to claim their rights. If these kids become teens and still have these lyrics running through their heads, I think they'll just see how ridiculous the whole thing is.
