1. Defending President Obama from racist attacks such as this
is important and critical for our democracy and the kind of world we want to have for our children and grandchildren. It is mutually exclusive from attacking President Obama's unwise and destructive political choices.
Just when you think they can't sink any lower, they prove you wrong. This thing of overt racism being acceptable has gone to extremes since President Obama was elected. It's time to tell them to stop! Thanks, Lawrence O'Donnell for saying so.
Poor widdle Batton Lash! Poor misunderstood James Hudnall! Have you seen the whinge storm unleashed by O'Donnell's adjurations? Both of these poor boys with less than average artistic sensibilities are busily defending their tasteless cartoon. This has got to be the most publicity these two have gotten in their entire lives.
Way too personal and intrusive. It reeked of what Glenn Beck did to Frances Fox Piven. It takes unknown people and skyrockets their infamy to the point where strangers could be convinced to harass publicly (or worse).
I agree with O'Donnell's message but not his tactics here.
