The cops at all levels have been SO great through this time - City, County, State... I had a talk with (Dane Co. Sheriff) Dave Mahoney last Tuesday, as we were leaning over the third level of the rotunda, watching the crowds. I wanted to thank him for speaking up against the bill, and we ended up talking for quite a while. He has been involved in labor issues from both sides of the table, and I would HOPE that the republicans would take his comments to heart.
