Nothing to see here folks, move along.

Actually nothing I can make sense of. There's nothing to suggest so far that the inner containment vault has been compromised as far as I know.

Second link shows photo and source.

Just keep watching you tele mate, you got less than one hour till full meltdown. And all that smoke and steam you see is radioactive, make no mistake. You are watching a core meltdown right in front of your eyes.

8. might as well watch james bond
as just about every bond film knows. dropping a body into the coolant is bad. then you get big boom. this is why nuclear power plants have always been an issue. never know where an earthquake might hit. Even more so now because they are doing this fracking shit.

Just about every Japanimation movie I ever watched has some sort of event in the past talking about the great Tokyo earthquake. (futuristic ones) reminds me of ghost in the shell actually. and it's 2nd Gig and Stand Alone Complex. Foolish Doomed Megalopolis (first have is good second half not so good) also has such a thing. Almost think Akira has something in it but been awhile.

3. Nothing can go wrong.
:(

I was a kid during chernobyl and I remember it vividly. Radioactive milk and meat with shortages of those things for months afterwards.

Looks like history may repeat itself.

6.  Explosion heard at Fukushima nuclear plant, 4 injured: TEPCO
Four people have been injured in an explosion that occurred at the No. 1 reactor of the quake-hit Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant, the operator Tokyo Electric Power Co. said Saturday.

The explosion was heard at 3:36 p.m. following large tremors and white smoke was seen at the facility in Fukushima Prefecture, the company said.

The four workers were working to deal with problems caused by a powerful earthquake that hit northeastern Japan on Friday.
