7. At some point those Republicans have to realize how they are being led around by the nose
are we too? sure but not as systematic and repeatedly as they are.

this is just too funny. Trump IS a joke now.

5. Well he had to.
His wig was made in Kenya. I wonder what other clown will be in the spotlight after that.

9. Wow, you mean I have to throw out my Trump
campaign buttons, hats and jokes?

Why is Trump dropping out the presidential race?
His hair has a higher Q rating.

Why did Donald Trump drop out of the presidential race?
His slogan "You're fired" didn't test well.

Why did Donald Trump drop out of the presidential race?
Oprah wouldn't interview him on her show.

Why did Donald Trump drop out of the presidential race?
Rachel Maddow didn't give him enough attention.

Why did Donald Trump drop out of the presidential race?
Donors were afraid that giving money to him was a big gamble.

Why did Donald Trump drop out of the presidential race?
He's spent less than fourteen year in the United States having spent the rest on mars.

Why did Donald Trump drop out of the presidential race?
Michelle Bachmann and Sarah Palin know more about American history than him.

Peace,
Tex Shelters

has rocks for brains. His ego couldn't fit through the White House front door. This was/is nothing more than a stunt to boost his show's ratings.

I think the "theory" that Trump was only interested in getting his stupid show renewed is correct. If so, the game he was playing paid off because NBC re-newed his show - probably to shut him up even though he got his butt kicked by the guys at the correspondents dinner, which was beautiful.
Maybe his show will get the worst ratings in TV history next season to prove that what goes around comes around. I'm talking to you NBC.

12. Trump not running for President... YAH THINK?
Hahah!
Isn't this sort of like John Ensign going on TEE VEE to announce that he's decided not to run for president of the Family Values Coalition?

This actually works out pretty well, and is very amusing. We all know that Trump wasn't going to run, anyway. His original plan was to make a lot of noise, generate a lot of publicity for his TV shows and casinos, and then announce he's not going to run anyway, ostensibly for some noble reason.

But this way it looks like he HAD NO CHOICE but to drop out due to the epic, colossal smackdown that Obama gave him, and his balloon bursting in the opinion polls. Didn't he go from 35% support down to 0.5% overnight after Obama 1) released the birth certificate, 2) made a fool out of him at the dinner, and then 3) pre-empted the last ten minutes of Celebrity Apprentice to announce that he'd killed bin Laden. Talk about a Mafia-style badda-BING badda-BANG badda-BOOM. Trump went from a hero to a zero in record time, and now it looks like he's scrambling off in a humiliated panic, like a dog that got caught rifling through the garbage can and had a shoe bounced off his mangy ass.

13. He got what he wanted.
His ratings went up
He got the spotlight (undeservedly so)
He was never going to run because his financials would be fodder for everyone -- and he knows he wouldn't even win the republikkan primary

15. They would have had to cancel The Apprentice if he'd decided to run for President.
I never watched the show, and that was a cheerful personal choice. If the show were cancelled outright, I would no longer have the option to choose not to watch it.

17. It would only have been a matter of time before he quit the
presidency to help the country in other ways (a la Palin), for example, by making more money for himself.
