A little more than a year ago, Rawesome Foods, a health food co-op based in Venice, California was the target of an armed raid by several agencies, and the resulting video went viral.

On August 3, 2011, Rawesome experienced another multi-agency raid, but this one resulted in the arrest of the establishment's owner James Stewart.

Stewart, and Sharon Palmer, the farmer who supplies him with raw goat milk, are being held on bails in excess of $100,000 and are each charged with four felonies and several more misdemeanors. Some examples of the charges are "processing unpasteurized milk," "improper labeling of food," and "improper egg temperatures."

The government has kept pursuing Stewart and his club for years, despite a lack of any reports of illness or injury from consumption of his foods. Rawesome members argue that they are part of a private club, not subject to government regulation, and that they are being persecuted for their alternative lifestyles.

be called, Moogle. On second thought that would make it too easy for the foodcops. I wonder if we are better off with all the meddling by the FDA or if people died by the billions prior to its arrival. I know I feel a lot safer since they banned tryptophan, don't sleep as well but I feel safer, fair enough.

the message is clear, you MUST get your food stuffs from our CORPORATE system. There is no alternative, buy from us or we will put you in jail, and destroy your products. People just do not realize how far the corporate gangsters have pushed and corrupted the legal system.

Just a hand full of massive aggro-corporations control most of the food supply,. they are currently making it more difficult for people to grow and sell food outside of their system. They are genetically modifying seeds/plants so they can claim copyright ownership of living things and then controlling their use. They claim to have improved them,. however the most common modification is to make them resistant to 'roundup' or some other herbicide that the corporation or some other arm of it produce, chaining the farmers to both products forever,.

Farmers have been prosecuted for having GMO plants in their fields when they did not plant them,. blown in from adjacent fields? it goes on and on,. the corporate domination of America must be ended now.

Legalize Cannabis,. grow hemp for building and food.
