The nuclear updates out of Japan have slowed to nearly Zero. BEWARE! Read between the lines. (I'm guessing things are Totally out of Control)... but that's just an estimate, after watching this "performance" on a daily basis. On the other hand, they could well have things totally fixed. I went to Fukushima City on July 25, 2011 to compare Medcom Geiger Counters and found readings over 10.0 micro sieverts (uSV) common. This is 100 times Osaka background levels (0.1uSV). The Fukushima health authority, Dr. Shunichi Yamashita, says this is safe. Parents in Fukushima with the Fukushima Network disagree and need our support. They are working to get children out. Would you want your child playing in the grass in this city?

5. Look at the bright side

The event is over, the public here is over it. Just like that little gulf oil spill, after a few months who cares anymore? Outta sight, outta mind. We have bigger fish to fry, like our debt and how we can fork over more public entities to the private sector.
Let's keep those nuke plants cranking here, drill baby drill, and frack baby frack! And let's not make a big deal over it. Our private sector would have it that way.

...doesn't want to keep bringing up the fact that these nuclear reactors that failed at Fukushima and that are presently spewing massive amounts of deadly radiation all over the planet, were built by their parent company, GE.

Disney doesn't know how to write a story except where life goes on after a disaster so we can buy all the shit they're hawking us. But on the scale of a Fukushima, there is no life after such a disaster. Not life as we know it. Not within several hundred kilometers it turns out. Such news would no doubt hurt advertising sales, because who'd want to sponsor a news program about real worldwide cataclysmic death of a planet. Our own. While it's happening. That would be Fox.

12. These GE nuclear reactors in Fuku would take one full year to shut down properly .....

and I doubt that includes waste disposal -- especially if a number of plants had

to be shut down all at one time.

The nuclear reactors we have in US require 6 months to be properly shut down --

and, again, I don't know if that includes disposal of the nuclear WASTE!


GE is a criminal corporation -- always has been, back to the days when it was

defrauding the Uncle Sam on government contracts!


Considering what has happened in Fukushima -- and Global Warming which is now breathing

down our necks -- imo, it's urgent to begin to discuss shutting down our own nuclear

plants - we have 103/106 across the nation -- generally two in every state and always

on waterways because of the need to cool them.


This was an insane concept to use nuclear power to boil water to create steam!!

However, as insane as it is, Obama has been pushing huge loan guarantees for a new round

of nuclear reactors here in US -- those we have are generally aged and permits have been

extended to keep them running.


Coming back to Global Warming and the chaotic weather we have been seeing over the last

15 years -- which will be increasing in numbers of events and severity -- shutting down

these nuclear plants may be the difference between "a whimper or a bang" -- !!


Corporate money buys a lot of silence from our corporate-press -- !!
