In an interview with Jake Tapper on ABC's This Week this morning, Huntsman criticized his competitors for the Republican nomination Michele Bachmann, Rick Perry, and Mitt Romney; he even said that Romney's inconsistencies could make an afternoon-long discussion. Tapper also challenged Huntsman on the flat tax that Huntsman implemented in Utah as governor.

2. Huntsman is running as a Pre-Regan Republican.
There is no way for him to get the nomination. Chances are he will take very few votes from Romney during the primaries next year.

3. A Republican who believes in science? That's refreshing.
At least he says he wants to address global warming. We can survive many foolish things the right wing wants to do, but allowing our planet to cook is the worst thing that could happen.
