Mirrored from the channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/RussiaToday. Further information is available in corresponding play lists on my channel. "Police in New York have violently dispersed an anti-Wall Street rally, arresting more than seven hundred people after a dramatic showdown on Brooklyn bridge. Thousands joined the movement dubbed 'Occupy Wall street' - in protest against what they call corporate domination. Radio host and author Stephen Lendman says the ever expanding protest shows awareness is growing among Americans that the country is run by people they never elected."

I encourage you to check out this column below...

The Conspiracy Channel
With a larger staff than Fox News, a worldwide Russian TV network spreads a unique brand of anti-American propaganda
by Sonia Scherr, from Intelligence Report
January-February 2011

Five years ago, Russia Today made its debut as a news network aimed at enhancing Russia’s image in the West. Recently, however, the Kremlin-financed television channel has devoted considerable airtime not only to coverage that makes Russia look good, but also to coverage that makes the United States look bad.

Over the past two years, Russia Today has reported with boosterish zeal on conspiracy theories popular in the resurgent “Patriot” movement, whose adherents typically advocate extreme antigovernment doctrines. Its slickly packaged stories suggest that a legitimate debate is under way in the United States about who perpetrated the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, for instance, and about President Obama’s eligibility for high office. It also frequently quotes U.S. extremists as authorities on world events or interviews them at length without asking anything more than softball questions. One British journalist called Russia Today “a strange propaganda outfit” after appearing on a show in which the host injected 9/11 revisionism.

6. At least someone
is willing to show those viewpoints. I don't agree with all of them of course (e.g questioning Obama's eligibility is ridiculous) but I don't see CNN or MSNBC stepping up. Furthermore, Thom Hartmann has a show on RT that producers a lot of accurate and important information. I don't intend to cut RT from my list of news sources.

7. kill the mesanger much,.
ALL Corporate Media is slanted, and we usually know the directions they lean,. we still get some information through the propaganda, and even more when we learn to filter based on it.

Attacking a news outlet as being from a Russian point of view is a tad silly, as that info is in the name of the network, no?

(On, "9/11 revisionism". What, actually having the nerve to suggest that the OfficialStory(TM) of the terror attack of 9/11 is not possible is uncomfortable to you? Some of us have had to get over the fact that 9/11 was an inside job, when faced with the physics of the buildings falling/exploding. We know the official story is fatally flawed.)

8. Not killing the messenger...
Just pointing out that the messenger, in this case, is a proven unreliable, conspiracy promoting propaganda machine.

Nonetheless, please feel free to lap up their spew if that's your bag.
