Dear Occupiers and the 99%,

First of all, I am inspired by your courage and conviction and I thank you for the leadership that you are showing the nation.

I just read the Declaration of the Occupation of New York City passed by the NYC General Assembly. I agree with many of the critical statements made about our current financial and political system and I admire the comprehensive nature of the approach.

As we further develop our collective vision and political strategy, I submit for consideration, Franklin D. Roosevelt's proposed Economic Bill of Rights, the basis of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights adopted by the UN General Assembly in 1948.

1. I hope this movement gets traction..........

If millions of people start protesting and challenging the elites it will be a bit like Tsar Nicolas in Russia...the inevitable is coming.

While I would love to see a scaffolding on Wall Street and the summary beheading of the top officers of every Wall Street Bank and investment firm, that isn't going to happen. The rich protect one another.

But when they see that their armed security guards cannot protect them against the thousands amassed at the gates of their private estates, they will start to run scared.

I personally question the loyalty of the military when it becomes evident that the vast majority of Americans, Republicans the Tea Partiers (who will be wetting themselves in their diapers) are against them.

This is the time to seize the moment and force a needed change. No more "me, me, me". This has to be about "us, us, us". I'm not opposed to someone who works hard, takes risks, has a great idea, etc. from profiting from that but it isn't all about them.

As Elizabeth Warren has said, they drive their products to market on roads paid by US, they employ workers educated by US. They want to have it all, all, all and the time has come to stop that shit.

I saw an interview with Rosanne Barr recently where she said Decapitate (my preference) or de-capitalize (driving down stock prices to effect change).

The time has come for protest, then revolt and if necessary revolution.

2. At least it isn't an astroturf revolution paid for by NewsCorp

Enough of this nonsense. Give us back our country.

Or prepare to go down with the ship.

Some revolutions are not violent ones. They are simply a change of direction. That's the kind of revolution the 99% need.

3. Winter is coming........

I tip my hat to these brave and sacrificing young people and whoever else becomes a part of this movement...but winter is coming, and I'm sure Bloomberg and Wall Street can't see it come soon enough. We mustn't forget! If we have to go inside for the winter and return in the spring..than so be it...but let's NOT forget!!
