11. Reminiscent Of The '68 Chicago Convention Riots.....

I saw Chicago cops taunting the protesters in Grant Park before the worst violence broke out. The cops were on CTA buses in their riot gear - their heads popping out the bus windows - pounding their billy clubs against the sides of the buses - catcalling out to the protesters (hippies) - just egging them on hoping to incite violence. I was there. I saw this with my own eyes. Fortunately I had the sense to go home and not stay around for that evenings melée.

I hope that the OWS protesters don't fall for this and get lured into a riot. That will be the quickest way to put and end to their cause. These protests need to remain non-violent.

Our generation helped end the Vietnam War. Let's hope this group will help end our current wars and put the Banksters & Wall Street in their places.
