1. What a Rep party hactivist.
This heritage fundation person(?) claims that "our" government doesn't need more income ("to waste.")
America's credit rating was recently downgraded. 95% of Americans are facing "austerity programs" which include; less and more expensive healthcare for those who can least afford it, cuts in social security for the elderly and sick, lower wages for for teachers, firemen/women, funding cuts for education, an inability to hire or pay health, labor, etc., inspectors (which just allows corporations to run roughshod over average Americans).

This spokesperson is certifiably insane. He is a sociopath. These are the kind of "people" who defend wealth for the very few. This is why we must continue our struggle for equality.

If Americans cannot watch this interview and conclude why our nation is failing and innately unfair for all except the wealthy, then why go on as a nation?

REINSTATE THE FAIRNESS DOCTRINE and make these types of interviews available for all Americans to easily see. IMO, Thom Hartmann would quickly become the Walter Cronkite of the 21st century.

2. taxes as an issue in 2012
This issue should be a good one for Obama next year, although I would say that the Romneys of this country shold be paying much higher rates. We have forgotten how high the rates used to be and have forgotten that there were many Republicans who supported higher taxes on the wealthy. The democrats should reshape the conversation and bring up the names of those old time Republicans who truly loved their country. Oh, how I miss people like Eisenhower.
