2. Nothing says "corporate-sponsored" like the teabaggers' HUGE projection screen &
fancy amplifiers set up on several towers. In contrast, OWS protesters aren't even allowed megaphones.

In regard to John Lewis: I'm bothered by the fact that a busy congressman who made himself available to speak to the group was dismissed due to a timing conflict with their assembly. I'm not there & I don't know the protesters' daily schedule, but, no matter the circumstances, I felt embarrassed seeing Rep. Lewis being treated that way. He should have been given time to speak.

3. Good points from Hartmann
This really is the ultimate town hall meeting.

For most of this country's history town hall meetings of a size that allowed full participation of all attendees were comprised of white males, usually with the most wealthy dominating.

Cut out the wealthy, egoists, include all ages, genders, races and allow full and open discussion and you have what some of refer to as democracy.

4. It's really sad that so many people have been duped by the RW spin about this.
DUers included.

5. Most wanted to be duped. They are scouring the country
desperately trying to find ways to undermine this growing and now pretty powerful movement and the same people who normally denigrate Democrats like Rep. Lewis, rushed to 'defend' him. I don't think most of us fell for it, only those who had ulterior motives. There were a few who sincerely thought the rightwing lies were true, so I'm not talking about them.
