Could help raise money for the state's budget, which in turn could help finance the private prisons.

...if this became a reality some day in this country.

With all the move towards online video visitation of prisoners, it is only a small step from throwing up a camera in the execution chamber.

I could see them making it freely available to just family and friends at first, then eventually expanding it to wider audiences as the collective bloodlust demands.

I wouldn't put anything past a couple more decades of cumulative Republican rule.
