1. I can't believe this
how this "reporter" is even allowed to be on CNN? I haven't watched CNN in ages, but has it reached such a low?

14. Remember, CNN "Headline News" featured Glenn Beck
for 2 hours every evening! CNN reached a low point years ago and hasn't gotten up.

like Burnett did in that segment. There was nothing journalistic about that piece.

It was just a big free infomercial, brought to you by the corporate whores of Erin Burnett and CNN.

3. and didn't the banks just go through an astounding number of layoffs recently?
I don't think they employ as many people as perky burnette thinks they do.

4. As pretty, smart, hard-working, and informed as Erin might be, she will never be good enough to sell
the "what's good for the banksters, other large corporations, and the uber-wealthy is good for America." To wit: the system has been broken and is irreparable because a corporatist government has been acting solely in the interest of the 1% (actually about 5%) to the detriment of the remaining 99% (95%) and capitalists are, by nature, greedy and predatory requiring stringent government regulation and oversight to keep this cannibalistic opportunism from devouring everything. :patriot:

5. All American
Harry Markopolos the man who brought down Bernie Madoff told
King World News “Between Bank of New York Mellon and State
Street, these two institutions have stolen between $6 to $10
billion from tens of millions of Americans retirement savings
accounts from pension funds on currency transactions.” “Every
day, every time a state pension fund traded, the bank would
steal approximately three tenths of one percent from every
transaction.” “Every time a state pension fund tried to sell a
currency they would assign them a price at the lows of the day
and the bank would pocket the difference. The bank has done
this for not years, but for decades, every business day for
decades.” Don’t you just love American Capitalism?

7. Wasn't she a CFO of some hedge fund investment bank?
That's why she's pro bank. Her show sure started at a bad time, right when OWS started....Ha, I don't think her show will last long.

12. Worked at Goldman Suchs (naturally) as a financial analyst before moving to Citi . . .
. . . as a media director or something. Then she sauntered on the lap of the second-most blatant right wing channel on TV (CNBC) before moving on to the dark horse for that title CNN.

She's engaged to a Citi executive.

No bias THERE, right?

17. Here's a video clip of Erin Burnett arguing poison food from China is good for America
"....but inflation, that's another interesting point, because, lot of people like to say scare monger about China, right? Lot of politicians and I know you talk about that issue all the time. I think people should be careful what they wish for on China you know. If China were to revalue its currency, or, China is to start making, say, toys that don't have lead in them or food that isn't poisonous. Their costs of production are gonna go up and that means that prices at Walmart here in the United States are gonna go up too. So, I would say China is our greatest friend right now. They are keeping prices low and they're keeping prices for mortgages low too."
