3. Was the guy seriously injured?
Those cop scooters are quite heavy, even a Suzuki 650 Bergman scooter is like 600+ pounds.

23. I read a report that they thought his leg was broken

Also you can see blood on the pavement on the video I posted below that was on Keith Olberman's show. Not sure if the blood was from being run over or from being beaten by police.

5. People tryin' to get to the guy to help him
and the cops are worried about someone touching their precious scooter. I sure hope that in the end, there's LOTS of suspensions and demotions in the NYPD.

7. Method in the Madness?
Considering the gravity of the situation for elites, and the number of white shirts engaging in the brutality, I find it hard to believe that the cops are not being TOLD to go buck wild. The more sadistic bastards amongst them are happily obliging. The goal must be to (a) intimidate others from joining the protest and (b) encourage the protesters to respond in kind, thereby providing a pretext for a full scale crackdown.

9. Now would be a great opportunity for
for one of the rank and file NYPD officers to cross the thin blue line by recording everything said and done by the white shirts. They might at least get a book deal down the line.

12. Oops they picked the wrong man to do this to. Well NYCPD you
just got your first lawsuit in this demonstration - do you have the rethug convention fines paid yet? Unfortunately it is the taxpayers in the 99% who actually end up paying for this.

15. Not the 1st
There's already been a class action suit filed for the kettling incident where they arrested 700 people - the last time another city used kettling, they ended up paying out 13.7 million. Before it's over, over-time expenses are going to be the cheapest part of Bloomberg's problems.

16. Especially if every one of these protesters start to ask for jury trials
and tie up the system. He is going to tear his own city down.

13. As I gaze into my crystal ball, I see a lawsuit and a sizable damages award.
Looks like the police officer intentionally and knowingly parked his motorbike on his victim's leg. Pretty ugly, and my guess is that it will even uglier for that officer.

What a stupid thing for that police officer to do.

The officer was not in danger. Why was he using excessive force? That is inexcusable.

19. The United nations needs to get involved.
I know that America funds most the U.N., but it might give us international legitimacy and force this brutality to lessen. TPTB do not want to reveal themselves, with U.N, involvement they may have to, this fascism has to stop.
