North Carolina Republican House Speaker Thom Tillis we should ''dividing and conquer' the poor that need government aid that welfare recipients should be tested for drugs. The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur shares his take.

What Tillis said:

What we have to do is find a way to divide and conquer the people who are on assistance. If we have to show respect that woman who has cerebral palsy and had no choice in her condition, that needs help, and we should help.

And we need those folks to look down at these people who choose to get into a condition that makes them dependent on the government and say at some point you’re on your own. We may end up taking care of those babies, but we’re not going to take care of you.

Oh, oh, oh, oh, here we go again with that poor=lazy line that Herman Cain peddled last week. So Tillis would like kids born in poverty to just suffer and die.

the banks. We threw money at them. Lots of it. We sure showed 'em. I suspect if they continue to behave this way, we're going to throw even more of it at them.
