5. He was pointing out that ; it was obvious that anyone running for president

wouldn't put themselves in such a situation, as having illegals working for them knowingly.
He was saying that it is something , he wouldn't do: not because he is running for president, but because it is wrong period and wouldn't
put himself in a situation that many appointees, judges, cabernet positions were scrutinized and disqualified.
This isn't a Weiner or John Edwards hypocracy. Second guessers and gotcha people are reading things that weren't meant or said.
I didn't beat my wife today, does that mean I beat her every other day.
