What happens when you fail to allow your people and national resources to be plundered by international corporations and the IMF?

An animated interview of John Perkins, author of 'HoodWinked' and 'Confessions Of An Economic Hitman'

2. Rec'ed
But I disagree that capitalism is not at fault. This is what capitalism does- it creates the greatest profit by the easiest means on the biggest scale.

That means that you buy countries, you hollow them out, and then you make them pay the bill.

Simple, elegant...utterly amoral.

3. I'm somewhere in-between, Hydra...
I seriously look at Capitalism as something for the honest... but, we have not evolved in this system. It has become viral with unsustainable means of "global economics". Shit... that is a race to the bottom.

May our currency is wrong or maybe we should not have a global economic environment. It's killing the planet.

On the other hand, the stuff that has been discussed (under threat of the mods here) on "resource based economy" would seem to be so far away from what we are willing to do.

What are we to do?

4. "What are we to do?"
I think a very good start, and actually an essential first step, is to seize control of our monetary system from private global bankster hands -- end the Fed.

5. Thank you for that, Mr_"J"
That system of "money" is based on debt, which a group of private banksters has controlled too long.

No accountability... END THE FED!
