Chrysler's workers on Wednesday became the last of the Big Three to ratify a new four-year labor contract. United Auto Workers officials fought hard to get members to OK the contracts after several major plants voted against the deals. UAW President Bob King discusses the contract and state of the industry with Jeffrey Brown. ()

It's rare to see representatives of organized labor on PBS, and much rarer on the commercial media or even MSNBC.

3. There is little difference.
PBS relies on government money not corporate money. They are the same, government= corporations. In the last 13 years, our government has demanded and gotten control over PBS content and personnel. Our only voice is now the foreign and independent media that rely on our donations. Truth is a valuable commodity, in short supply these days.
