And the winner is.....Roger Ailes, promoting Fox Business Network with reviews edited to reverse the meaning. Runners up: RedState.com (reviewing Olbermann's anchoring post-debate coverage when he wasn't on the air) and Glenn Beck ("the trolley is off the track").

2. I don't know why
Comcast switched MSNBC from regular to digital cable. I work for them and I think it may be the people who watch MSNBC are more likely to subscribe to digital and/or HD cable than those who watch CNN or (ack!) Fox.

5. ROFL! "Now please change it back."
That was an enormous insult to the show, and they tried to make it look like a compliment.

"We report, you decide." Yeah, well, I've decided that you're a bunch of fucking liars.

6. You wanna know something amazing re that story??
..I used to read MAD magazine back in the 60s when the biting political satire was mixed thoroughly with the low-brow ethnic (Jewish) humor. Well, one of the vignettes they did was how media outlets would take a crappy movie review and cherry-pick the phrases so it meant the opposite. Such as: The reviewer would write: "The lead actor was so lame if it were physically possible I'd've delivered a knockout punch through the screen just to put us out of our misery."

After cherry-picking, the review read: "Lead actor...delivered a knockout punch..."

Well, you get the pic.

As I watched Keith last night and heard that Roger Ailes had stolen his strategy from an old MAD satire, it totally hit me that we're really living in Bizzaro World. Or rather, to quote Oscar Wilde, must be another case of Life Imitating Art.

14. Another edited quote about Foxed Business Network
Edited quote: "FOX Business Network is... a gas!"

Actual quote: "Whoever came up with the idea of a FOX Business Network is a Nazi who should be thrown into a gas chamber!"

No surprise about the contenders. What always surprises me is that these people can walk around in daylight.
