"A Las Vegas judge has ruled that Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich must be included in the Tuesday night presidential debate in Las Vegas.

Kucinich filed a lawsuit against NBC. He said he was initially invited to be in the nationally televised debate but the offer was later rescinded. Base on the earlier invitation, Judge Charles Thompson ruled in Kucinich's favor saying if he isn't included, he will issue an injunction stopping the debate.

The judge met with lawyers from both sides Monday afternoon at 4 p.m. and indicated that he would sign a formal order at 8 a.m. Tuesday. The attorneys for NBC claim the state court has no jurisdiction in this matter, and they have decided to appeal the decision to the Nevada Supreme Court.

Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama as well as John Edwards are the only three candidates invited to the debate."

5. The benchmark should be if a candidate qualifies for federal

matching funds, he/she is an official candidate. Once that benchmark is met, the networks are required to do their civic duty, instead of censoring or choices and not letting us make our own decisions. Is this America or Nazi Germany. / Don't get too hopeful. I see the media conglomerates are appealing to the Nevada Supreme Court. These self appointed gods will have their way. And if they don't , Tim Russert and Brian Williams will be unusually ruthless with ideas they disapprove .

6. America SHOULD BE Ouraged at this Blatant Outrage

to our Democracy. Apparently, we're only allowed to hear talk of "Change" if it doesn't really amount to "Change". I wonder why, in an American Democracy, the network would want to keep America from hearing talk of things like

ending the war in Iraq WAY before 2012 and NO residual troops
ending our Occupation of foreign lands
ending War as an Instrument of Policy
Universal NOT-FOR-PROFIT Health Care (not INSURANCE)
Canceling NAFTA (not "modifying" it), and exiting the WTO
Repealing DOMA (and not "modifying" it)
Completely ELIMINATING the Patriot Act (and not "modifying" it)
Restoring Habeas Corpus
Rebuilding our Nations Infrastructure and creating millions of jobs through a WPA style work program (WGA)
Right to Education programs providing government sponsored pre-K through College for all Americans
and more....

If I didn't know better I would think the Network(s) were complicit with the neo-con agenda and trying to steer these elections to ensure that Americans continue on the road of Corporate and elitist Plutocracy by allowing us access only to neo-con friendly candidates. Of course that could never happen in America...land of the free, home of the brave......... and all that stuff. Right?

GET OUTRAGED or forget about America for good. It's pretty obvious what's going on...get motivated, get active, get outraged before it's too late...if it isn't already.

mrone2, you nailed it again. Why would anyone want to silence Dennis' voice of progressive politics? America better wake up and realize that "they" don't want us to choose Dennis. Parents only give the children a choice between the things they want them to have. I'm ready to file for emancipation so I can make my own choices.
