5. perhaps that is why he was not IMMEDIATELY
put on the no fly list. When he was determined to have TB that should have happened. Human Bio-Weapon.

16. Yes, but if we were to find out that he votes Democratic or independent, what might that explain?
I'm wondering if there's a similar thread at Free Republic asking if Speaker is a Democrat.

Some idiocies simply transcend political affiliation.

17. If he WERE a Democrat, Drudge would be all over it.
As it is, there don't appear to be any campaign contributions in his name.

It's tempting to assume that anybody who does something foolish is one of THEM, but it's a silly and demonstrably invalid assumption. Anyhow, he's a trial lawyer. They tend to be Dems.

9. "The TB Guy" -- he has a drug-resistant strain of TB, though no symptoms;
was told he shouldn't travel, went to Europe on his honeymoon anyhow, didn't get stopped on his way back despite the fact the CDC was looking for him. The assumption seems to be that if you do something dumb and selfish you must necessarily be a Republican.

11. He seems to be contradicting the "Bush spin".
I thought that Andrew Speaker was stating that he was NOT told to" not fly to Europe"....which is the opposite of what the CDC is saying.

Personally, I just thought the administration was trying to instill another health scare into the American people......since the Bird Flu panic never materialized.

Can you contradict this administration, at any time, and NOT have your name and career ruined? :scared:

13. Stupid, arrogant, no "rules" apply to him ---
Does whatever he wants no matter the potential harm to others ---- sounds like a Republican to me.

14. He's a plaintiffs' lawyer. He has got to be a Democrat.
Republicans oppose plaintiffs' lawyers.
