Moron reporter Jeff Toobin with his voice breaking (or whining) droned on about how stiff a sentence this was against Libby.

According to Toobin, "Libby has lead an exemplary life and has small children. And 2 1/2 years is a VERY long time."

And as another said, the prisons are full of people who have small children at home. And many of them are not set up financially as well as Scooter's family is. No doubt his wife will be able to continue her weekly beauty appointment, and will just have to hire another Nanny to pick up the slack while Scootster is in prison.

Toobin ought to be doing stories about the Mother of three working several part time jobs to keep a roof over her kid's head, and praying that the kid doesn't wind up in jail like her husband. There's your real story.

Poor people with children have them taken away...DCFS moves in almost immediately and the conviction is used as a reason the parent is unfit. Scooter should be glad this isn't in his future plans.

Lots of people in prison have small children, and most of them have far fewer resources to make sure the children are cared for, than someone like Libby does.
