'Another number': 3500 dead in Iraqi Occupation
http://icasualties.org/oif/

Will Tony Snow tell us, as he did on June 15, 2006, not to sweat it because, "It's just a number'?

4. I'll go out on a limb here
and predict that Brian Williams (NBC) will make note of it. He's pretty good at that stuff. I have no idea what perky will do because like the vast majority of Americans, I don't watch her.

3. Conservative priorities
We all must shed a gallon of crocodile tears for poor scooter and his sweet little family. No one has time for dead Soldiers in Iraq. No conservatives anyway. They never have had time for dead Soldiers. Way too busy justifying bush's lies. Yes, to a conservative it is just another number.

5. They cheerfully gave their lives "protecting" freedom.
At least that's what the politicians and generals like to tell us. They leave out the part about the screams of agony, the terror felt, the sheer horror, of dying by violence.

"War would end if the dead could return." - Stanley Baldwin

“What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans and the homeless, whether the mad destruction is wrought under the name of totalitarianism or the holy name of liberty or democracy.” - Gandhi
