Home Grown Occupation...
Earlier today, I posted one of my many tinfoil hat theories. And the funny thing was, many people were thinking along the same lines. So this maybe yet another tinfoil beeny ready for wear, but I'm not going to use our little emoticon friend :tinfoilhat: this time. Whoops, I just did.

Having read a great article on blackwater, by Chris Hodges

What If Our Mercenaries Turn On Us?
http://www.commondreams.org/archive/2007/06/03/1638/

several things jumped out at me while reading it, both from my fuzzy memory, the article and from the comments that followed.

The thing about blackwater that has puzzled me for a while is: why do they need to keep opening up new "bases" here in the U.S., but more so, why in different parts of the country?

The bases so far as I have come to understand are located in North Carolina (east coast), Illinois (mid west) and now in San Diego (west coast). Anyone else see a pattern developing here? Is it safe for me to guess where the next location will be? Texas? Oklahoma? Louisiana? A southern command if you will.

Call me crazy all you want, but that kind of concept scares me.

But now travel with me in the wayback machine for a moment, do you all recall the priceless moment when moron* was asked, on 9/11 or soon after, what the nation could do to help? His* answer was the now classic response of "go shop".

Obviously stupid, but was it really?

When you think about it, if you have a nation that is actively involved in a wars prosecution much like WWII, you have a nation that is aware, that will ask questions (such as during Viet Nam) and as such moron* and his room full of dopes couldn't have that. So they treated the tragedy of 9/11 as an excuse to go on a shopping spree! Out of site, out of mind. No need to ask questions, I'm shopping my way to freedom!

So we have a mercenary army establishing bases in our nation and a willfully ignorant populous.

Then finally, one thing that moron* and his* goons liked to spout off early on was that the enemy was cunning and patient and could attack at any time, but more than likely, they will plan and wait for just the right moment to attack. According to them, 9/11 was years in preparation and so, more than likely, the next one will be too.

Kind of setting us up for the fall. If there is a large scale attack coming towards the end of this year or next, we will see the propaganda machine rolling out the talking points to all the MSM stooges along the lines of, "it's been 7(8) years since 9/11 can we expect another attack or are we on the offensive?" This I think will take place later this year as the presidential campaigning really heats up.

So there you have it, mercs on our soil, a government that is basically given free reign to commit false flag ops when they need it and worst of all, a stupid population that lacks critical thinking skills to ask what the fuck is going on?

And finally, if there is another attack, expect moron* to be either at another school house reading, "everything poops", having a beer with his money buddies, out water skiing with the king of Saudi Arabia or clearing "brush" at his ranch bunker.

okay, okay...

1. The locations of new Blackwater installations guarantees support in Congress
They are simply locating them where they know they can get support from representatives, much like they do when they spread around DoD contracts. The more states that are involved the more likely someone will step forward to fight for continued funding.

They know how long it took to plan 9/11 quite simply because they planned it. It was a classic false flag operation and it was wildly successful. Even know most Americans remain in the dark about what truly happened on 9/11.

Not that there aren't 47 reasons not to look into the whole affair....

2. I see your point, but I am not concerned about blackwater on a large scale.
Small scale operations like N.O. after Katrina would be their strong suit. How many of them are there really? 100k? 150k? Out of that, how many would be willing (really and truly not phoney baloney posturing) to act against US citizens? The prospect, in my opinion, of them being able to control the us would be limited to a small disaster zone and not much more. How many soldiers and mercenaries are in Iraq right now? That country is about the size of Texas and they can't handle it. A far smaller force spread out over a vastly larger area? Forget about it. A mercenary coup is a pipe dream of the radical right and not much more. Just hope that there aren't any disasters in your area. And a good rifle wouldn't hurt either.
