This link will allow you to find 'SiCKO' theaters in your area and purchase advance tickets (ATTN: To find a theater, type in your zip code rather than city and state - it works better that way): http://www.sickotix.com/

Moore: Health care wasn't always `Sicko'

By David Germain / Associated Press

LOS ANGELES - "The doctor will see you now," says a Hollywood publicist as she opens a door for a reporter at Los Angeles city hall.

Alone inside a conference room there is Michael Moore, who has just finished speaking at a rally outside with supporters of universal health coverage for Americans.

An Academy Award winner for the 2002 gun-control documentary "Bowling for Columbine" and the filmmaker behind 2004's President Bush-bashing "Fahrenheit 9/11," Moore returns with "Sicko," his dissection of the nation's health-care infirmities.

Moore, 53, presents horror stories of Americans who have gone bankrupt and lost loved ones after health insurers denied coverage. He contrasts public health-care coverage in Canada, Great Britain and France with the U.S. private system. He visits Cuba for treatment of ailing Sept. 11 rescue workers, a trip that has prompted the U.S. Treasury Department to investigate Moore for potential violations of the trade embargo prohibiting travel there.

"Sicko" opened at one theater in New York City last weekend and played in sneak previews around the country Saturday night in advance of its nationwide release this Friday.

Since 1989's General Motors critique "Roger & Me," Moore has been breaking box-office records for documentaries, with "Bowling for Columbine" topping $20 million domestically and "Fahrenheit 9/11" shooting past $100 million.

The Weinstein Co. — co-founded by Harvey Weinstein, the former Miramax boss who championed "Fahrenheit 9/11" — is releasing "Sicko."

3. Try typing in just the zip code....
For some reason, it doesn't properly respond with city and state.

8. Probably not.....
The zip code usually works.... I bet if you typed in a Madison or Milwaukee zip code, something would show up.

4. There are a total of 3 theaters showing it in an area of over 3 million residents...
The entire St. Louis metro area, just 3, that's pathetic, those Godsdamned theaters.

17. Contrast to the San Francisco area.
At least 15 theaters in the city and the East Bay alone, some of them old large capacity big screen theaters. There are probably many more in the north and south bay regions and the San Jose/Silicon Valley area.

9. Paris Hilton strikes again
or shall I say the worship by the press of Paris Hilton. Michael Moore on The Daily Show last night said he was supposed to have the full show with Larry King last night and guess what.....King cancelled so he could talk to Hilton.

So old Larry finds whether Hilton had a chance to bath, go to the bathroom and sucker the public into believing she "saw the Light" is more important than pressuring our government into health insurance for Americans. Well we see the priories of CNN exposed over and over...

See beck having coulter on his show...Another cable spot programmed out of my remote. I already have Fox blocked.

20. Well that is messed up
It shows 3 theaters here with openings on July 3. But the ONE theater in this area that IS showing it tomorrow is not listed.

So it doesn't look like that is reliable information.
