2. neither is mine--i've got a republicon rep. but i'm doing a little
phone call/email & handwritten letter campaign to everyone on that list--and a few who aren't.

at least half of the time when i call they never ask what zip code i live in, they just take the call and make note of whatever i'm talking about.

15. i'll be on the phone tuesday, and i'll be sending out these letters
tomorrow (monday)

--i noticed that most of their emails only accept emails from constituants (which really drives me crazy)

anyway, here is the letter i am sending to all of them:

Dear Honorable (fill in the blank)

I understand you were a cosponsor for H.Res. 635 in December of 2005 which was John Conyers bill to investigate the Bush Administration and “make recommendations regarding grounds for possible impeachment.” I would like to thank you for doing that.

At this time, I think we know by now all the grounds we should impeach both Bush and Cheney on. And I believe it is mandatory that the Representatives in the House act on this.

Impeachment has never been more warranted as it is today.

It is my understanding that John Conyers told an audience last Friday that he is looking for a handful of cosponsors for the Kucinich Res. 333 and he will begin impeachment proceedings.

Your voice is an important representation of the people and WE, THE PEOPLE are crying out for representation on this matter.

If this administration is not impeached, what dire consequences will lie down the road for America?

Impeachment never should have been taken “off the table.” Nancy Pelosi was WRONG. She is disregarding her oath of office.

When the House begins impeachment proceedings and the American people can see on their nightly news all the crimes that have been committed by this administration they will commend Congress for standing up to George Bush and Dick Cheney.

Please be a leader on this issue. Stand up for impeachment today and cosponsor H.Res. 333.

Sincerely,

9. Call David Loebsack of Iowa's 2nd District too!
He just replaced James Leach, who was the ONLY Republican that cosigned bill HR 375, which was about investigating George Bush and the Downing Street Memos.

http://irregulartimes.com/index.php/archives/2005/08/28/iowa-leach-downing-st

If Leach as a long time Republican rep of this district felt that his district wanted him to do that, SURELY Loebsack should be able to understand that this same district would want him to sign onto this bill as a Democrat!
