Could bush become a victim of 'friendly fire' from his own troops?
You know, sort of like the Pat Tillman case, could bush face incoming friendly fire from the GOP who once supported his every fart? That's what finally brought tricky dicky down back in the seventies, his own troops turned on him and politically fragged him when it became apparent that the Titanic was sinking.

bush is politically toxic for whatever that's worth, he'll do whatever the fuck he damn well pleases in the meantime with a year and a half to go. He'll spend his remaining months stealing and lying as much as possible, and the Democrats will take shots at him as they always do, but the really effective bullets are the ones soon to come from his own team mates.

When your own party leaves you in the dust, you're fragged.

1. Only if he were to ever go someplace where there was real fighting and
real ammo. So that will never happen.

But on the number one failure of the Bush administration; belligerence and war as foreign policy, they are still lockstep behind Bush. Not one of the candidates is interested in changing course, and the base isn't interested in that either.
