Did the psycho-in-chief contact Mr. & Mrs. Ashcroft to line up this story so the WH LIE would mesh

with Ashcroft and his wife? OR, were they threatened?

Surely he wouldn't have told this story had the cabal not lined up the Ashcrofts for back-up? OR, Mrs. Ashcroft DIDN'T hear what was actually said (though Comey said she was right next to the bed, so that's not likely) and Ashcroft was so drugged, he doesn't remember and the WH knows all this (not likely either, from Comey's testimony)? You KNOW the WH has talked to John Ashcroft and his wife. There's just no doubt about that.

Pelosi, Harman, Rockefeller, Comey and now, Mueller, have all said Gonzo is LYING. Does the WH have the Ashcroft's blessings on Gonzo's version of this story?

What do you all think? SOMETHING stinks about this story or Congress was waaay ahead of the game here.. Gonzo knew there were witnesses in the hospital room. He also knew who was in the Gang of 8 meeting. He also knew Mueller knew what he was planning because Comey called Mueller and Mueller sent FBI agents to the hospital. PLUS, many DOJ staff know this entire story...Comey met with them right after the hospital incident. Ted Olson also knows the story. He went to the WH with Comey to meet with Card and GONZO that very night. SOMETHING STINKS. WHY such a BLATANT lie when so many witnesses witnessed the TRUTH of what REALLY went down?

Do you think John Ashcroft and his wife could have been threatened to keep their mouths shut? That's another explanation for why they (the WH cabal) feel so free to lie about this. They were the only other people in the room with Comey, Card and Gonzo.

Congress could very easily call John Ashcroft and his wife to get the truth of what went down. Do you think they have already talked to them and were told they cannot tell the truth? OR did the Ashcrofts give Congress Gonzo's story because the WH got to them before Congress did? OR did Congress get to the Ashcrofts a long time ago, before the Comey testimony and they already had their ducks in a row before Comey testified and before the WH KNEW Comey's testimony and Congress is letting the WH hang themselves? The Ashcrofts could very well be players in all this. That's why Congress hasn't called them to testify? Ashcroft RESIGNED because of this NSA program and the WH going forward with it WITHOUT the DOJ's permission. Did John Ashcroft and his wife tell the WH cabal they would play along with Gonzo's lie in order to help set the trap?

5. I see. So, Congress knows what happened from Ashcroft and Comey. Why does Gonzo think he can get

away with this lie then? Does he think Congress won't impeach him? I wonder if the RW assholes in Congress have promised the WH they will stop an impeachment? There has to be a reason he would lie so blatantly and think he would get away with it. There are just too may people to back up Comey's testimony.
