But not likely she would ask or he would accept. Richardson albeit still my favorite is oproving a far less capable debater than he has been in the past - no idea why - so he may not be best suited for the attack dog role either. I think if she wins she'll go outside the candidate pool. Bayh maybe? Good ideology and role fit but would be nice to try for a real southerner. I wonder if Landrieu would be worth a look? Go two for two on the female firsts?

I have to think that there is still a lot of weight to name recognition of candidates at this time. There have only been a few debates, none on a major network that I know of, and I still haven't seen any TV ads from primary candidates.

We here at DU are the exception to the norm in that we are actually following the candidates and their campaigns.

I think your average voter likes the idea of Hillary more than he will like the real Hillary.
