CHELSEA, Mass. -- Boaters at the Chelsea Yacht Club are concerned after falling debris from the Tobin Bridge damaged their boats.
According to Dan French, a boat owner, falling debris from the Tobin Bridge has gouged his deck and shattered his windshield, causing $2,700 in damage.
According to officials at the Chelsea Yacht Club, there has been problems with falling debris for years, however there have been six incidents in the past two weeks.

Massport originally told the boaters that the bridge could not be the problem due to steel blankets under the bridge that catch any falling debris. However, after being shown that the safety measure does not cover the area around the yacht club, Massport has said that the falling debris could be rust or cement falling from the bridge.
Thank you! Thank you, Massachusetts! I'm outa here! Good luck!More:
