Thread title editted for clarity

In 2002 Edwards spoke at a conference in Washington titled "Fortune Global Forum" and delivered his same populist message he is delivering today --But somehow Huff Post attempts to smear Edwards with guilt by Association, and no further explanation.

Read it for yourself.

The headline:

"Edwards Slams Hillary For 'Fortune' Cover, But Spoke At 'Fortune Global Forum' In 2002"

"But in 2002, Edwards spoke in Washington at the "Fortune Global Forum," a premiere event where attendance is "limited to the chairmen, CEOs, and presidents of major multinational corporations." Edwards told the forum attendees, "People in Washington sometimes overstate government's role in the economy."

People in Washington sometimes overstate government's role in the economy. It's the innovation and effort of our people that generates our economic strength. At the same time, we know that policy choices matter. The right choices can create an environment that encourages innovation and smart risk-taking. They can promote research and investment in people, maintain stability in the face of international economic crisis, and preserve fiscal order in spite of unforeseen challenges. The right choices encourage businesses large and small to create wealth and opportunity for all our people."

They don't like each other, but that doesn't mean they don't talk to each other.

5. The DLC created these media monopolies and Edwards is running against
their candidates(Clinton, Dodd, Richardson). It's just that simple.
