I listened to a clip of him speaking at the Vietnam War Memorial today.....What is with the exaggerated enunciation of each syllable when he's reading from a speech? It took him 2 minutes to say "vocabulary" (Vow-kab-uhl-larry is how it sounded when he was finally done). And then he gets the smirk, like he's proud of himself for pronouncing a word right.

The has trouble pronouncing words properly, and he is bad about slurring them, so no doubt his trainers have told him he must speak more dis-tinct-ly, and that's his way of doing it.

if Shin-too is wrong, but I've never heard it pronounced any other way but Shin-toe.
