Craig is a distraction from the 2nd "anniversary" of Katrina.
The human misery resulting from Katrina and the failure of the New Orleans levees continues unabated. There are people who will never again return to their homes.

I've read and heard stories here and there, (sorry, no link), that Louisiana will, from now on, be a totally red state. The number of black people who will never return to NOLA has forever changed the political makeup of the state.

Karl Rove didn't cause the hurricane, yet it gave him an unprecedented opportunity to turn Louisiana permanently Republican. And I believe he did so by seeing that NOLA was not rebuilt and that tens of thousands of black people could never go home again. I'd bet everything I own on that being the case.

So the bottom line here is that the Republicans are profiting politically from the death and homelessness of countless human beings. What swine. What miserable, disgusting beasts.

3. Yes, I'm sure he solicited an undercover police officer...
in order to distract people several months later from the anniversary of a historical event.

8. Uh...
So in order to distract the country from remembering republican incompetence they reveal to the country republican hypocrisy and bathroom sex?

6. The Craig incident happened weeks ago, but is only coming out now.
That aside, how about spending some time focusing on New Orleans that became a major Republican crime scene.

Don't people yet realize this could happen anywhere tomarow and they that feel safe and focus on Craig could end up just like the victims of Katrina .

9. How convenient -- is that why
it took so long for his "incident" to make it to public attention.

Was the "leaker" a Rovian, figuring to get rid of an embarrassment in a safe Red state while diverting coverage from one of Bush's and the entire adminstration's most heinous incidents of negligence and incompetence ?

10. What the hell are you talking about?
All I've heard on the radio all day are Katrina stories.

Lift your head up out of the DU once in awhile and look around.

11. If KKKarl is having a down day after leaving DC, all he has to do is
log on to DU to feel better. People apparently think he's some kind of amazing superhero who can bend time and space.
