Freedom isn't free?
You're not buying it for me!
You fighting in other lands
It was paid by our father's hands.

Written in ink and blood
Centuries ago, by stronger men
Guided by greater forces
Than those asking you to sacrifice for us

Please don't die for me anymore
Fight our enemies domestic not abroad
Search your souls and lay down arms
The men you follow only wish you harm.

Brave fighting soldiers
You don't protect our freedoms now
Osama Bin Laden is a pipe dream
Smoked into being, behind the scenes.

You don't fight for Kings but for ideas
Set down on parchment,
Better words than those that wrote them all
Don't sacrifice yourselves for this betrayal.

The men you fight for don't want freedom
Not for all, only the chosen
The royalty, the few, the proud,
But not you marine, You get a funeral shroud.

So bleed no more for my freedoms
Stay home and fight for it here
I can't live with your blood on my hands
The enemy is not in foreign lands.
