Senator Craig's Arrogance
Besides the fact that he tried to intimidate the police officer by brandishing his business card, he arrogated to himself the right to peer through the cracks of closed restroom stall doors to determine who is and who isn't a suitable sexual partner.

That fact bothers me more than his furtive foot rubbing and hand gestures.

I know the Republicans have arrogated to themselves the right to monitor our phone calls, read our e-mail , and open our overseas letters but I didn't know they have arrogated to themselves the right to watch us urinate or defecate after we go into restroom stalls and close the doors...

Dear Republican Senator...You can not watch me do my business without asking...

1. I agree. Staring through the crack in the door was totally creepy.
It's one thing to make gestures that say you're interested in a little funny business--but the peeping Tom thing is just downright INVASIVE and degrading. I'm surprised ol' Larry hasn't had his clock cleaned a few times by men who didn't take kindly to this behavior.

2. Here's The Deal...
Big shot GOP senator goes into a restroom with several closed stalls in it...He then peaks into every one until he finds someone who looks like he would be a suitable sexual partner. By doing that he has invaded the privacy of every person in the restroom.

3. And he gawked for 2 MINUTES!
That is an awfully LONG time to gawk at someone through a bathroom stall door. CREEPY as hell! That would have freaked me out.:scared:

4. And he has no problem with entrapment of others
just not him. Just make this go away for me is what he essentially said.

He had to catch a plane (sic) ... That's why he pled guilty to a charge that would question his moral turpitude.

The wild thing is the police tried to have the plane delayed... Can you imagine them asking the airline to delay the plane while they interrogare a United States senator about soliciting restrrom sex...

5. Funny that he thought the card would work.
The only card that would work is a police business card.
