Let's see....
Karl Rove basically turned the Executive Branch of the Federal Government into a full-time arm of the right wing of the Republican Party...

Alberto Gonzales likewise turned the Federal Courts into a full-time protector of the above takeover...

Henry Waxman and Pat Leahy's committees exposed them both and set the ground work for their impeachment and/or prosecution.

Then, within a week of each other, at the tail end of month long Congressional recess, they resign.

And less than a week after that, a 60 day old arrest of a Senator for soliciting in a public bathroom kills all other discussion in the press.

Yep, the reasonable thing to conclude is: coincidence.

{pssst...Larry...remember those people you went to for help in keeping this quiet? Well, turns out they had bigger problems than protecting one expendable Senator... How does it feel under that bus?)

1. I wonder
How does it feel to have one's sexual orientation used to cover up the criminal activities of the bushco?

Craig's misconduct was kept off the front burner until they could make use of the incident.

And too many are being sucked right in.

Good post Junkdrawer.

7. Well, kinda hard to resist, no?
After years of Clinton, Republican sex scandals are GUARANTEED to monopolize political discussion for weeks at a time...

2. Yes. Cause We Just KNOW That Without Craig, The MSM Would've Been Honorably Discussing The Rove And
Gonzales matter with all the respect, airtime, honesty and integrity those stories deserved! We would've finally had the MSM taking the real news to the people with real journalistic integrity and doing the stories proud, so that all americans would finally see for themselves exactly what's going on. But now it's all ruined. RUINED I TELLS YA! Now they'll NEVER report these stories like they were going to and expose all the crimes as they would've. Damn you Craig! Damn you straight to hellllllllll!!!!!!!

6. Here's what I'm afraid of re Iran...
BushCo is rattling Iran's cage so violently that, should another false-flag terror attack occur, the thought that it was a preemptive strike from Iran will become the leading official explanation.
